MINUTES OF ELTON PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD IN THE HIGHGATE HALL ON TUESDAY 20TH MARCH 2012 AT 8.00 P.M.

2. Declaration of Interest:
No declarations of interest declared.

Questions for Cllr Macguire and Guyatt
Is there any funding available for resurfacing etc – reported not doing anything to the roads at this moment in time, more money has been made available, officers have put in proposals of how money should be spent, as soon as they hear anything they will let the Parish Council know.

Planning application for Greenhill Road – had permission been granted – Cllr Guyatt will check with his team and report back to Parish Council.

3. Minutes of 20th March 2012:
Proposed Cllr Shrive, seconded Cllr Todd, all in agreement.

4. Matters arising from the above minutes:
Cllr Truman and Cllr Donoyou have still to look at Village Sign and what repairs need to be made.

5. Authorisation of Payments:
MHB Services – Maint 1st March 2012 £53.08
Highgate Hall – Hire of annexe 20.12.2011 and 17.1.2012 £24.00
Wendy Gray – Salary less tax £160.00
Wendy Gray – Tax payment Jan/Feb/March 2012 £120.00
Wendy Gray – Expenses £61.28
CPRE Subscription renewal £29.00

Proposed payments approved Cllr Shrive, seconded Cllr Porter, all in favour.

6. Planning:
Planning application 1101210FUL – Agricultural Buildings North of Tookey Lodge, Bullock Road, Elton – this application has gone to appeal.

7. Special Projects:
Nothing to report at this stage.

8. Trees:
Cllr Donoyou has met with resident in Chapel Lane.

9. Correspondence:
Anglian Water – information on proposed Hosepipe Ban.

10. Meeting with Elton Estates:
Cllr Truman has a few items to discuss with the Estate, will try to arrange meeting for April/May.

11. Reports from Councillors:
Vehicles speeding along Wansford Road – could we arrange for PCSO to carry out further speed tests.

Pot hole along Wansford Road which has been filled in on numerous occasions needs further filling in work required.
