ELTON PARISH COUNCIL

Extraordinary Meeting 20 March

PRESENT:

APOLOGIES:

Cllr Elvin chaired the meeting in Cllr Hidderley’s absence.  The meeting was long awaited following discussions last November when Mr G Hughes was in attendance and he had agreed to set up said meeting.

The Councillers from Cambrideshire County Council introduced themselves and their roles within the council.  Mr Frost apologised for the delay in the meeting taking place but hoped that we could progress things as soon as possible.

Discussions took place on options available and Cambridgeshire County Council were also able to ascertain what we wanted.  Emma Murden and Louise Collier agreed they would respond to the Parish Council within the next 8 weeks with updated costings on the Hyder report and the possibility of Speed Restrictions being put in place.  Emma Murden would e-mail Cllr Elvin with information.

Cllr McGuire confirmed he would follow through with his team.

Parish Clerk to write letter and ask for information to be sent one week before Parish Council Meeting in May.

The meeting closed at 3.40 p.m.

Signed: ……………………………….Chairman
